When I first got wind that there were accounts being opened in my name I put a fraud alert on my account. I do not know what it is about AT&t but they will not let it go. Now I'm being chased by debt collectors from ATT U-verse once again. My credit has taken a beating off and on every since this happened. I have lived at my present location since February of 2011.
I never lived at the address that they have down at the service was installed at. I don't know what it is about them but they will not let it go.
All of the other accounts I've been able to get wiped off the books with no problem with the exception of AT&t u-verse. One of those accounts was an ATT U-verse account. There were numerous accounts with different organizations opened up in my name. In June of 2019 I was carjacked and my identity was stolen. when especially they get mad at you and void and break all laws and procedures.people boycott att and TMobile.they are finelty have valid lawsuit.yall stay woke. if your fraud department is closed early how is three reps that have no clue I. No one safe going public with this onemy lawyer will be sitting the proof. Change email.cause they unlocked when I got the second phone.pay attentio. y credit file off lock to run credit.and they lady told me it was locked Well if it was locked and your trying to change my passcode and ask personal security question that's on that which you need to change things to your accou t when you. Huh? Fortunately, Verizon, which is my iphone carrier, will soon be supplying Internet services and you can bet I'll be near the front of the line.Ītt has malware on website and spoofing the global fraud aren't real.stop giving your social account number and pins to rep working at home.att has policy about this and they aren't who ain't doing wĪtt has malware on tge assurion claims just talked to go fraud who thought it was a game while I was in store.funny is in my pocket I had my lawyer listening to the who convo.reps aren't supposed to For pins and social working from home and they get mad and Flagg you account I just switched got 5 lines in less then a week they say I was fraud.but att has lied about security they told me they couldn't prove my id which I had I store took. It took me several hours, and several ATT troubleshooters to establish at least a reliable, though even now spotty, WiFi connection with my devices.Oh, and the inside guy did not clean up the plaster dust form the installation, and the outside guy did not take the old modem. And when I couldn't pick up WiFi signal on any device - not the phone, no the laptop, not the desk top, the 'outer guy' had no clue what should be done, basically a 'not my job attitude' and the 'inner guy' would not respond to my phone calls and text messages the next morning for over two hours and his voice message did not even contain the correct phone number for his supervisor. It took the service men a total of four hours for the hook-up. Then, when the neighborhood went fiber, ATT promised the transition would be 'seamless.' It was a debacle.
Multiple false starts and misinformation. When I wanted to start service at my new home, I gave up on the 800 customer service after over an hour, so tried the local bricks and mortar, which was so aggravating it was comical.
